Everett High School was being represented at the College Entrance Examinations at the University of Washington by seven students: Richard Ingram, Gerald Skaare, Dennis Blick, Ern Anderson, Jim Bortner, Karen Hegel and Juanita Fale.

Ceremonies were conducted at the courthouse today to commemorate the 42nd anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. The Rev. Samuel Neufeldt, Everett police chaplain, led the group in a prayer for today’s servicemen and women who faced violence in other parts of the world.
