Add a little style to your bedroom with these ideas:

Seating: A chaise longue is a relaxing addition. Designed for reclining, they’re the perfect spot for reading a book or catching a quick snooze.

Bold lighting: The jewelry of the room, the right lighting adds romantic sparkle.

Old world elegance: A custom canopy and rich drapery panels make a bed the dramatic centerpiece.

Stencils: Stenciled onto the wall behind the bed, a subtle geometric pattern adds movement and depth.

Pile on pillows: Layer pillows in assorted sizes and fabrics. Invest in down pillow inserts and shop for decorative covers that can easily be switched out with the seasons.

Incorporate antiques: Modernize a favorite heirloom with streamlined pulls that coordinate with the room’s decor.

Cottage charm: Whitewashed clapboard walls and pine floor give a bedroom timeless appeal.
