The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival wraps up its annual celebration this weekend, as the flowers that give the festival its name begin to fade.
Two of the nine tulip fields are expected to be in bloom through Sunday, while one of the 14 daffodil fields is still showing great color, according to the festival bloom map on Friday morning.
The festival was originally scheduled to end on April 30. The tulips bloomed late, however, so many activities have been extended.
