Local student earns CPA scholarship
The Washington Certified Public Accountant Foundation recently awarded Eliza Nesvog of Edmonds an accounting scholarship.
Nesvog attends the University of Washington and plans to earn a degree in professional accounting.
She has made dean’s list each year and served as the vice president of service for the UW Delta Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and the International Accounting Honors Organization.
Nesvog placed first in the KPMG Tax Case Competition and third in the Deloitte Accounting Competition.
Everett student on Kansas honor roll
Sarah Eve Harrison, a senior from Everett, was recently named to the University of Kansas honor roll in the School of Allied Health.
She is the daughter of Susan and Geoff Harrison of Everett.
Snohomish grad makes PLU dean’s list
Mercedes Begley, who graduated from Snohomish High School, was named to the dean’s list at Pacific Lutheran University for the spring term.
Begley is the daughter of James and Roberta Begley of Lake Stevens.
Camano grad gets Savannah degree
Kasey Cleek of Camano Island recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia.
Cleek earned a degree in illustration.
Monroe graduate on college dean’s list
Rachel Reppert of Monroe was recently named to the Waynesburg University spring dean’s list.
Reppert plans to earn a degree in sociology from the Pennsylvania university.
