‘The Eye’
In this remake of the Hong Kong film “Jian Gui,” a woman receives an eye transplant that allows her to see into the supernatural world. Jessica Alba portrays Sydney, a young, blind violinist who is given the chance to see for the first time since childhood through a miraculous corneal transplant. As she adjusts to a dizzying new world of colors and shapes, she is haunted by frightening visions of death itself capturing the doomed and dragging them away from the world of the living. Rated PG-13 for violence/terror and disturbing content, the movie opens today at Alderwood, Everett, Galaxy Monroe, Marysville, Metro, Pacific Place, Woodinville, Cascade Mall and Oak Harbor.
