Charlie Brown is an adorable dude looking for an active forever home! This guy loves to go for walks and play with squeaky toys. Any children in the home should be over 10 years old and be able to respect his space. He would like to meet any resident canines prior to adoption. Charlie Brown will need a feline-free home. The Everett Animal Shelter hosts thousands of stray and unwanted animals every year. Some are adopted right away, but some sit in the shelter for weeks at a time, waiting for a home. The shelter has dogs and cats, as well as some rabbits and birds, all looking for a loving home.
All pets are vaccinated, spayed or neutered, and given a identifying microchip before they are adopted. Take a look at some of the dogs, cats and other animals that are available for adoption at the shelter now. Here is the previous post featuring animals up for adoption.
If you’re interested in adopting an animal, the shelter is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 425-257-6000.

Rex is a very active young dog looking for a home with some type of bird dog experience. He is very smart and needs secure confinement when unattended. Rex will need a feline- and feather-free home. He has gotten in trouble with chickens in the past and although he did not harm them they were very shook up. Rex seems to get along with other dogs but would prefer large active breeds like himself. He is not suited for apartment living. (Curt Story/Everett Animal Shelter)
