Looking forward to tonight’s Silvertips game with Spokane. One, both teams make up quite the rivalry, and two, I’m curious to see which Silvertips team shows up tonight.
Check this out: The Tips are on five-game win streak, which followed a five-game losing streak, which followed a six-game win streak.
Wow!
The WHL’s least predictable team could be great tonight. It also just as easily not show up. I would think it would be a pretty competitive game, as the playoffs are around the corner and they’re playing pretty well now.
But who really knows?.
The plan is to talk to some players and coach John Becanic and figure out what’s happening. I’m sure our Nick Patterson has a take on it. It’s like the UW men’s basketball team. They beat UCLA, then look horrible against Oregon. That kind of up-and-down stuff always makes me curious.
Then again, we’re talking largely about teen-agers. What can we expect from a group still searching for its competitive identity? The kids are still learning about a lot of things about the game.
I’m dying to see them in the playoffs. It won’t be boring.
