Hatvany fearlessly explores complex family issues in new novel. The store is located at 15311 Main St., Mill Creek.

6 p.m. March 3, Hibulb Cultural Center

The poet’s first full-length collection, “Hover,” won the Patricia Bibby Award from Tebot Bach Press and was published a year ago. The “What Sound Does It Make?” chapbook (a small collection of poetry) was published in 2008 by Concrete Wolf Press. Malone is an associate editor at Poetry Northwest. The center is located at 6410 23rd Ave NE, Tulalip, and her reading is free.

2 p.m. March 5, Edmonds Library

“Walking, Thinking, Drinking Across Scotland” is one man’s search for joy, or at least his nightly Guinness, that led him along unexpected paths. Learn travel tips and hear Trimbath’s tales as he shares his adventures on this walking trip that commemorated the 10-year anniversary of his bike ride across America, chronicled in his book “Just Keep Pedaling.” The library is located at 650 Main St., Edmonds.

Alice Boatwright, Candace Robb and Marty Wingate

2 p.m. March 12, Edmonds Library

This panel of Northwest authors will talk about their books and love for the mystery genre and all things England. Stay and enjoy a proper English High Tea with the authors after the discussion. Boatwright plans to talk about her first mystery, “Under an English Heaven.” Robb is the author of the “Owen Archer Mystery Series.” Wingate is best known for her gardening books. She shares her love for Britain and mysteries in her two series mysteries, “The Potting Shed” and “Birds of a Feather.” The library is located at 650 Main St., Edmonds.

5 p.m. March 16, Barnes &Noble

Yee plans to sign and talk about her book, “Wonder Woman at Super Hero High.” The store is located at 19401 Alderwood Mall Pkwy., Lynnwood.

J.A. Jance

7 p.m. March 16, University Book Store

In bestselling author J.A. Jance’s latest thriller, “Clawback,” Ali Reynolds faces her most controversial mystery yet, solving the murder of a man whose Ponzi scheme bankrupted hundreds of people, and left them seeking justice or revenge. The store is located at 15311 Main St., Mill Creek.
