Portland’s new prog-rockers are hitting the road this summer with an impressive opening act — Andrew Bird — and the presale for their show starts Thursday.

The Decemberists latest album, “The Hazards of Love,” has been getting mixed reviews. Some love the release, which tells a convoluted fairy tale; it has averaged a 4 ½ star rating on iTunes.

Some prominent tastemakers, however, have been scratching their heads about the release. Pitchfork.com, usually safe ground for the group, gave it a middling 5.7 out of 10, far from high praise.

Tickets for the group’s show go on sale Saturday, but the presale info starts sooner. See below for details on that, along with new info on Keith Urban’s Tacoma show.
