Arty Gras Masquerade Ball: Monroe Arts Council seeks artists to participate in an “Arty Gras Masquerade Ball” Feb. 17. Original art and other arts items will be part of a silent and live auction to raise money to support local arts activities. Half of the money raised from donated items will be returned to the artist. To showcase local artists, there will be a juried art show at Arts Merchant International Gallery, 17161 Beaton Road, Monroe, Feb. 8-15.
