An open house June 5 will mark the grand opening of the Artspace Hiawatha Lofts, a new Artspace affordable housing project in Seattle’s Jackson Place Neighborhood.
The celebration, from 4 to 10 p.m., features music, entertainment and refreshments. The building will be open for self-guided tours of residential units, studios and businesses.
Located at 843 Hiawatha Place S., the Artspace Hiawatha Lofts is Artspace’s second Seattle live/work project. It features 61 one- and two-bedroom rental units of affordable housing, each with sufficient extra space for an artists studio, plus six new ground-floor businesses, including C Art Gallery, Youth Venture Partners, Cafe Weekend, My World Dance and Fitness, Artspace’s regional office, and Working Dog Bikes.
