Last Leaf Productions: The Monroe-based Shakespearean company will perform “Love’s Labor’s Lost” and Part One of “Henry IV” throughout the summer in parks around the region; lastleaf99.org.

Phoenix Theatre: The comedy theater is at 9673 Firdale Ave., Edmonds; 206-533-2000 or www.phoenixtheatreedmonds.org. See “The Dixie Swim Club” at 8 p.m. June 24 and 25 and 2 p.m. June 26. The comedy is about friendships that last a life time. Five Southern women who met on their college swim team set aside a weekend each August at the same beach house for time to laugh and meddle in each other’s lives. Tickets are $19 general admission or $16 for seniors, students and military. Directed by Simone Barron. The play is by the writers of Phoenix’s last season hit “Hallelujah Girls.” Starring Susan Connors, Jeannie Early, Bonnie Ronan, Ana Marie Lake and Melanie Calderwood.

“Suite Surrender,” an homage to the farces of the 1930s and ’40s, through June 26. Starring Cindy Giese French, Melody Mistlin, Terry Boyd, Jason Bradford, Ryan St. Martin, Greg Cochran, Mary Sabetto, Jennie Babcock and Kate Wirth.

The seventh annual Festival of Shorts is July 8-10, featuring short plays by playwrights from around the country. Audiences pick the winner.

“Billy Elliot,” the Broadway sensation, with music by Elton John, plays July 8-31.

“Thoroughly Modern Millie,” musical comedy, Aug. 18 to 27.

“Scrooge! The Musical,” Dec. 1 to 10.

“Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus”: The off-Broadway comedy is a one-man fusion of theater and stand-up comedy based on the best selling book by John Gray. See it at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Call 425-258-6766 for ticket information.

Red Curtain: Red Curtain Foundation for the Arts, a nonprofit arts education organization, has launched an effort to create an arts center in Marysville. For more information, go to www.redcurtainfoundation.org. The 2016-17 season at the Red Curtain Community Arts Center features “The Fantasticks,” “Arsenic and Old Lace,” “You Can’t Take It With You,” “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians,” “A Streetcar Named Desire” and “Noises Off!” Season tickets are $92 for adults and $75 for seniors, students and military personnel. Red Curtain offers summer classes beginning June 26. See the website.

Barclay Shelton Dance Centre: The school presents its 2016 Summer Revue, “Showtime!” at 7 p.m. June 24-25, Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds; www.edmondscenterforthearts.org.

Youth productions

Ludus Performing Arts: The musical “Mary Poppins” will be performed at 7 p.m. July 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 28, 29 and 30, and at 2 p.m. July 16, 17, 24 and 30, all at the PUD theater, 2320 California St., Everett. For tickets, call 425-239-6627.
