The people over at Raven Rocks Studio are asking this question: Have you ever put anything off until the last minute?
Well, so have they. That’s why they came up with this procrastinator’s shopping event, which will feature lots of original art for those last-minute gift ideas.
The event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday at the studio in the Bayview Cash Store, 5603 Bayview Road, Langley.
The Raven Rocks Studio artists, Mary Jo Oxrieder and Windwalker Taibi, have put together paintings, Giclee and other fine art prints, hand-painted stemware glasses, one-of-a-kind gemstone necklaces, mixed media wall and table art and much more.
The artwork is made locally on south Whidbey Island.
Also, the artists will host a celebration party from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday to recognize their final day of business at the historic cash store. The studio is moving to 220 First St., Langley.
