Sip, walk and take in the scenery; repeat.
Bothell’s Country Village this weekend will be the scene for more than 20 local wineries to offer up their creations.
This “Bring Your Own Glass” wine walk, set for 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, offers guests 10 1-ounce tastes for $20 and additional tastes for $1 each.
Those who don’t bring their own glass can purchase one for $5.
Samples will include merlots, rieslings and some specialty wines, mostly 2006 to 2009 vintages.
Bites of gourmet foods from area restaurants also can be purchased.
Those who attend must check in at the Will Call/ID checkpoint at the center of the village, at 23718 Bothell-Everett Highway, Bothell. There, guests’ names will be matched to a master sheet and they will be given wristbands that provide tasting privilege. No actual tickets will be distributed.
Tasting is allowed for ages 21 and older only.
