Comcast is keeping customers in Snohomish County connected as the ACP ends

As the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) ends this month, Comcast has been working hard to communicate to its customers their robust choices at affordable prices to stay connected.

For over a decade, Comcast has offered Internet Essentials, which will continue to be available to lower-income customers at $9.95/month (for 50 Mbps) and Internet Essentials Plus at $29.95/month (for 100 Mbps).

All current ACP customers are eligible to switch to Internet Essentials during this transition. Internet Essentials has connected approximately 21,500 households in Snohomish County to high-speed Internet at home, many for the first time. New Internet Essentials Plus customers can get a free line of unlimited Xfinity Mobile for one year and save hundreds of dollars.

With Comcast’s NOW product line announced last month, the company offers everyday pricing without contracts, just $30/month (for 100 Mbps) and easily combined with NOW Mobile for as low as $55/month. The company also offers competitive promotional pricing as low as $30-35/month (for 300 Mbps), and a WiFi Pass for $20/month with unlimited access to the nation’s largest network of WiFi hotspots.

Further, Comcast continues to provide free Internet access in nearly 100 Lift Zones in Washington to keep communities connected.

Comcast has formed a Digital Equity Network in the Pacific Northwest that is comprised of a group of organizations that work collectively to bridge the digital divide and open doors to economic mobility.

Some of the non-profit organizations that are receiving funds from Comcast this year as part of the digital equity network include Adelante Mujeres, Asian Counseling & Referral Service, Easterseals, El Centro de la Raza, Goodwill, YWCA, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Dress for Success.

Comcast is committed to building on the momentum that is creating unlimited possibilities for millions of customers.
