BONNEY LAKE — Authorities say one person has died and two others were injured in a fire south of Seattle near Bonney Lake.
East Pierce Fire and Rescue officials were called to a burning mobile home with someone trapped inside Thursday afternoon.
Two of the three people living in the residence were able to escape and were taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with possibly life-threatening injuries.
None of the people involved has been named.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the person who died and determine the cause of death.
Authorities are investigating.
