EDMONDS — Police are still looking for a third suspect in a series of drive-by shootings last month in Edmonds along Olympic View Drive.
In early June, neighbors reported 11 reports of gunfire at night in the 8100 block of Olympic View, Edmonds police Cmdr. Josh McClure wrote in a press release Wednesday. Officers found bullet holes in a stop sign and a tree.
No injuries were reported in any of the shootings, McClure said.
Officers patrolled the neighborhood for weeks, but did not find a suspect, McClure wrote. During this time, a neighbor reported a gunshot came into their home.
During a patrol June 27, a car drove into the neighborhood, McClure wrote. Officers heard gunshots. Patrol officers later found the car unoccupied. A search of the car turned up multiple rounds of live ammunition and spent shell casings, McClure wrote.
The same night, officers detained two men, 37 and 26, in Edmonds and Everett. One man spent nearly two days in Snohomish County Jail before posting $10,000 bail, jail records show. It was unclear if the second man remained in custody.
Police confirmed they were still searching for a third suspect in the case Wednesday.
