VANCOUVER, Wash. — Authorities say two men have been stabbed in the parking lot outside a Starbucks coffee shop in Vancouver. A third man has been arrested.
KATU-TV of Portland, Ore., reported that one man was seriously hurt while another man’s injuries were minor. The stabbing was reported about 5 p.m. Monday.
Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said one victim was treated and released while the other remained hospitalized Monday night. They were not identified.
Kapp said Scott C. Fandrick was arrested for investigation of two counts of first-degree assault.
Witness Alyssa Case said she saw several men come out of the Starbucks and grab another man who was holding a knife. They then helped the victims.
There was no immediate word on what led to the stabbing.
