EVERETT — The Snohomish County medical examiner identified two men Thursday who died after falling in water as Adrian B. Jovanovic, of Seattle, and Mason P. Alvis, of Marysville.
On June 17, search and rescue crews found Jovanovic’s body in the Skykomish River near Sunset Falls. The 49-year-old died from fresh water drowning, according to the medical examiner. His death was ruled an accident.
On July 1, Alvis, 42, was crabbing with three others near Port Gardner when their boat became swamped. All four of the passengers fell overboard. Alvis died of a health condition, according to the medical examiner. He did not drown. His death was ruled natural. The other passengers survived.
