EDMONDS — A passerby on a cellular phone alerted authorities Tuesday to a fully involved house fire that caused damage estimated at $235,000.
The fire occurred about 12:40 p.m. in the 16200 block of 75th Place W., Edmonds Fire Department Lt. Doug Dahl said. Firefighters from Edmonds and Lynnwood had to haul hoses up a steep driveway to the home, which was inaccessible to firetrucks.
The cause is under investigation.
