39-year-old woman died of natural causes, says medical examiner

EVERETT — A death investigation has been closed after a woman’s body was found in an Everett-area apartment May 6.

Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies were called about 3 p.m. that day to the home in the 1000 block of 130th Street SW.

The county medical examiner’s office recently ruled that the 39-year-old woman died of natural causes related to health problems, sheriff’s spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. Sheriff’s detectives had been waiting on the medical examiner’s ruling before closing their case.

The death was not considered suspicious.
