EVERETT – A two-car collision backed up traffic on Mukilteo Boulevard near Forest Park during the height of the evening commute Thursday, Everett police reported.
The collision occurred about 5:30 p.m. between an Isuzu and an Acura in the 800 block of E. Mukilteo Boulevard. The Isuzu wound up on its side in the road, and the driver was slightly injured, police said.
Two men in the Acura initially walked away from the scene but then returned. The collision is still under investigation.
The road was at least partially blocked for more than an hour, police said.
