Army Pvt. Joel Clark has graduated from basic and advanced training at the U.S. Army Infantry School, Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. Clark is the son of Jennifer Rae of Lynnwood. The soldier graduated from Lynnwood High School in 2003.

Marine Corps Pvt. Janelle K. Reynolds, daughter of Janice and James Reynolds of Oak Harbor, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. Reynolds is a 2003 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Sean Gosslin, son of Teresa and Gary Gosslin of Monroe, recently reported for duty with U.S. Navy Support Activity, La Maddalena, Italy. Gosslin joined the Navy in August 1996.

Marine Corps Pvt. Carl A. Swope, son of Luann Williamson of Everett and Jeffrey Swope of Omaha, Neb., recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Swope is a 2003 graduate of Cascade High School.

Air Force Senior Airman Jason O. Rogers has arrived for duty at Incirlik Air Base, Adana, Turkey. Rogers is an air transportation journeyman with the 728th Air Mobility Squadron. He is the son of Richard Rogers and Donna M. Mazar, both of Everett.

Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Dorian C. Sidhu, son of Rebecca and Paul Sidhu of Clinton, recently graduated from Marine Security Guard School with Marine Security Guard Battalion, Quantico, Va.

During the course, Sidhu received training on the organization and functioning of the State Department’s foreign service, protection of classified material, identification of bombs and other topics. Sidhu joined the Marine Corps in February 2002.

Marine Corps Pvt. Robin L. Somerville, son of Michelle and Rick Somerville of Everett, recently completed basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, Calif. Somerville is a 2003 graduate of Snohomish High School.
