Air Force Airman Derek Setter graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Lisa Setter of Snohomish, and is a 2007 graduate of Chrysalis High School, Woodinville.

Air Force Airman Earlsam Silvino graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Florita Silvino of Oak Harbor, and is a 2003 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Air Force Airman Marcus Gonzalez graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Victor Gonzalez of Langley, and is a 2009 graduate of South Whidbey High School.

Air Force Airman Eric Risner II graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Rick Risner of Kelso and Trisha Risner of Mountlake Terrace. Risner is a 2009 graduate of Kelso High School.

Army Reserve Spc. Andrew Fuller has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. He is the son of Cindy Fuller-Selleck of Bothell. Fuller graduated in 1995 from Lynnwood High School, received a bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Puget Sound Christian College in Everett.

Army Pfc. Zachary Cole has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Suzanne Tennant of Oak Harbor, and is a 2009 graduate of Oak Harbor High School.

Phillip Chronister has been selected for promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force. Chronister, a current operations branch chief with 15 years of military service, is assigned to the Air Force Global Strike Command at Peterson Air Force Base, Colo. His wife, Heather, is the daughter of Thomas and Susan Hamilton of Coupeville.

Army Reserve Pfc. Douglas O’Donnell has been deployed to serve overseas. O’Donnell, a postal clerk, is a member of the 478th Human Resources Co., based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He has served in the military for two years. He is the son of Pamela Daugherty of Helena, Mont., and Kevin A. O’Donnell of Bothell.
