Have you always wanted a fruit tree but didn’t know what to choose? The spring fruit show is for you.
Experts will give talks on choosing the best varieties for our area. You can buy rootstock and custom grafted trees. A custom grafted tree is a wonderful thing. Imagine three (or more) different types of apples growing on one tree. If you’ve always wanted to learn how to graft, they’ll have hand-on demonstrations on how to do that too.
The Seattle Tree Fruit Society organized the show. It’s happening Saturday in Seattle at Ballard High School at 65th Street and 15th Avenue NW. The cost is $5 a person or $10 for a family. The show runs 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
