Cub Scouts honored by VFW

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1040 awarded the Scouting Spirit and Leadership Award to Webelos Cub Scouts Dirk Smith and Justin Hecox at the Boy Scouts of America Cub Scout Pack 331 Blue and Gold banquet, held Feb. 28 at Edmonds United Methodist Church. This award is given annually for outstanding leadership and Scouting spirit shown by a member of Pack 331.

Zonta donates $49K to local groups

The Zonta Club of Everett recently distributed $49,000 — the proceeds from its latest auction — to several local agencies whose work will continue to advance Zonta’s mission of changing women’s lives and empowering women through service and advocacy.
