EVERETT — More than $1 million is available for housing-related programs in Snohomish County, and the Human Services Department is seeking applications.
Nonprofit organizations, for-profit developers and government agencies are encouraged to submit applications for homebuyer down payment assistance and home ownership development, a press release said.
Also, the department is seeking applications to develop affordable rental housing, emergency bridge or shelter housing and sweat equity projects.
More than $1 million in federal funds under the HOME Investment Partnerships Program may be available for the 2026 program year, the release said.
Snohomish County Human Services Department helps all persons meet their basic needs by providing timely, effective human services and building community, according to the release.
Interested applicants are required to attend one of two virtual information sessions 1-3 p.m. Aug. 26, or 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Aug. 28. Applications must be submitted to the Human Services Department by 4 p.m. Sep. 15.
