ARLINGTON – Police are looking for a man suspected of robbing a bank this afternoon.
Officers received report of a robbery at a Bank of America branch in the 500 block of N. Olympic Avenue shortly before 3 p.m., city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.
The suspect is described as white, in his mid-20s, 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. He had longish, light brown or dirty blond hair and some facial hair.
He was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt, baggy pants and a black baseball cap.
The man implied he was armed, but no weapons were seen, Banfield said.
He was seen after the robbery running north on N. Olympic Avenue.
Detectives are asking anyone who can help identify the suspect to call 911.
