SPOKANE — Spokane police have arrested a woman who allegedly yelled at a slow-moving elderly couple and then pepper-sprayed the disabled wife in the face.
Police say Sherri Schlosser apparently became upset when the elderly couple stopped their car outside a Home Depot store Sunday to wait for pedestrians and to let the 72-year-old disabled wife out of the car.
Police say Schlosser yelled profanities at the couple and then pepper-sprayed the wife.
Witnesses tried to stop the woman, but she got away. Police were able to track her down at home and arrested her for third degree assault.
Firefighters treated the pepper spray victim and she was able to go home.
