BELLINGHAM — The Bellingham International Airport will be closing for three weeks starting Wednesday for resurfacing work and other upgrades.
Customs and Border Protection says private planes arriving from Canada will need to report to the agency for clearance at alternative airports.
The airport is scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Sept. 22.
The Port of Bellingham says the Airporter Shuttle service will be offering additional rides during the closure between Bellingham and Sea-Tac Airport while the runway is closed.
