EVERETT – Police this afternoon were looking for a teenage boy who allegedly stabbed another boy during a fight near Silver Lake, officials said.
The boy who was stabbed was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries, Everett police Sgt. Jerry Streick said.
The fight apparently started just before 3 p.m. between the two boys, both 16, at Thornton A. Sullivan Park at Silver Lake, Streick said.
The two boys know each other but police don’t yet know what sparked the fight.
Police were combing the area for the boy who drove away from the area, Streick said.
Detectives were still trying to determine exactly what happened, he said.
