BURIEN — A 21-year-old employee of a Burien store was collecting grocery carts in the parking lot Friday evening when a man grabbed her arm and attempted to drag her into his van.
The King County sheriff’s office said she fled into the store. A witness called 911.
The suspect followed the woman into the store. He was leaving when deputies arrived and arrested him.
KOMO reported the 43-year old Seattle man is a known gang member with a long criminal past. He was booked into King County Jail for investigation of attempted kidnapping.
