SEATTLE — Summer outdoor burning limits began in King and Pierce County on Monday.
Outdoor burning in those Western Washington counties will be limited to recreational fires in fire pits. The counties told KOMO-TV recreational fires must also be limited to three feet across and they have to be in a clear spot free from any vegetation or overhanging branches.
The burn ban will continue through the end of September.
