LYNNWOOD — A Lynnwood man was jailed for investigation of first-degree animal cruelty after he allegedly slammed his mother’s dog into a railing.
The man, 37, reportedly was drunk when police officers arrived at a home Friday for a welfare check. The man told police he cared for his elderly mother and her Pomeranian, according to a police affidavit.
The man’s mother told police that her son had gotten angry and pushed the dog into a railing, causing the animal to bleed and cower in fear, the report said. The man told police that he hurt the dog, the affidavit said.
