SEATAC — A gray Cadillac was riddled with bullets and three men were wounded as multiple shots were fired during rush hour at a busy Seatac intersection.
A passenger in the Cadillac said she and two male companions were sitting with her 2-year-old son at a stop light Tuesday afternoon when several men started shooting at their car.
KING5 TV reports the Cadillac driver was critically injured while the front seat passenger was seriously injured. The woman and her son were unhurt.
A nearby worker saw three young men drive off in a Ford Taurus. Police caught up with that car about an hour later in nearby Burien and were questioning two men. A third man was dropped off at a hospital with a gunshot wound that King County sheriff’s Sgt. John Urquhart says may have been accidental.
Urquhart describes the shooting as “a very dangerous situation. We’re lucky more people weren’t hit by all the shots fired.” The motive was unclear.
