Jackson

Jim and Pat Jackson of Lake Stevens will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with their children on a cruise to Alaska.

The couple were married June 29, 1968, at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens.

Jim and Pat have three children.

Wise

Francis and Eva Wise of Lynnwood will celebrate their 71st wedding anniversary with a family gathering on Sunday.

The couple were married June 29, 1937, in Gettysburg, S.D.

The family moved from Gettysburg to Snohomish in 1955. Since retiring, they have spent many years traveling in their motor home. They have now settled in Lynnwood.

Francis and Eva suffered the loss of their daughter, Donna, and recently their granddaughter, MaryAnn.

Francis will be 94 and Eva will be 90 in August. They live at Scriber Gardens and enjoy bingo and numerous other social activities.

The couple have four children, eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Smith

David and Judi Smith of Everett will celebrate their fifth anniversary on Saturday.

The couple were married June 28, 2003, in Marysville.

David and Judi met while both working different shifts at Fluke Corp. in 1999.

His friendly smile and customer service attitude drew Judi to David. She knew he was her soul mate the day he sat next to her at New Life Center. It was Mother’s Day 2002 during the blessing.

David proposed to Judi on June 8, 2002, at Gianni’s Italian Restaurant in Everett.

Both David and Judi have lived in Snohomish County for 20 years.

They have five children and five grandchildren.
