WENATCHEE — Chelan County PUD commissioners think they might be able to save a little money by meeting twice a month instead of weekly.
The Wenatchee World reports commissioners will try the new schedule until December.
They expect to save on the time the utility staff spends preparing for meetings. It also should reduce expenses because commissioners receive $104 a day for PUD meetings.
