Mmmmmmmmmmmm.

What is that great smell? Is mom cooking breakfast? Smells like mom’s homemade egg McMuffin and bacon.

If you want my opinion, she is the best cook at everything.

The next best thing my mom’s good at is being polite. She cares about everything she sees. She is nice to everyone I know.

She even has good table manners. She says "excuse me" and "thank you." She’s so polite.

My mom’s loving, caring, and did I mention loving? My mom tucks me in and kisses my head.

That’s why I love her so much.

BY ANDREYA BARTON

I think my mom is the best mom because she’s caring.

Once I got mad at her and ran in my room and shut the door.

She didn’t just walk away and say, "Fine, be a brat." She came in my room and talked to me.

That’s why I think she’s the best mom in the world.

I’m going to tell you about a special person in my life.

This special person helps me with my homework when I need help.

This special person cares for me and give me lots of love like hugs and kisses.

Also, this person lets me play soccer.

This special person lets me stay the night at my friend’s house.

This person makes all my meals.

The person who does all that also takes me shopping for school and takes me to school when I miss the bus.

In case you haven’t guessed the special person is my mom.

Thanks, Mom, for all your hard work. You’re the best mom in the whole world.

BY MICHAEL TUIASOSOPO

My mom is the best because she is cool, has a good sense of humor, is funny and is da bomb.

My mom keeps secrets, and she is always nice.

Every time I’m sad she makes me laugh all the time.

Also, my mom makes my favorite dinners, like chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, humble pie and tacos.

That’s why my mom is cool.

I love my mom, too.

BY SUZANNE FOLDESI
