STANWOOD — A section of 268th Street NW is closed around the clock the rest of the month.
Snohomish County Public Works crews are replacing the culvert for proper fish passage in the 1300 block. The road was first closed Tuesday and is scheduled to reopen Aug. 31.
A detour route takes drivers to 28th Avenue NW, 276th Street NW/Beck Road, Old Highway 99, 12th Avenue NW and 268th Street NW.
Correction: This story has been modified to reflect that a court order about fish passage barrier removal was only directed to state government departments.
