EVERETT — All southbound lanes of I-5 were blocked around 5:15 p.m. in South Everett on Monday after a box truck flipped on the highway. No one was injured, the Washington State Patrol said.
The highway was closed and traffic was halted just north of the southbound exit to Highway 526.
As of 5:15 p.m., it was unknown how long the highway would be blocked, trooper Rocky Oliphant said.
Oliphant estimated all lanes of the highway would be blocked until at least about 6:20 p.m. A tow truck was en route to remove the overturned truck at 5:50 p.m.
