Here’s a roundup of some of the more interesting recent neighborhood crime news from throughout Snohomish and Island counties, provided by police:

Everett

  • E. Casino Road and Evergreen Way, Sept. 20. An officer stopped a car because it didn’t have a front license plate. A computer check revealed the suspect’s driver’s license had been suspended. The suspect, a 29-year-old Everett man, had a warrant for driving with a suspended license in Kirkland. He was arrested on the warrant and cited again for driving with a suspended license.

  • 8500 block of Evergreen Way, Sept. 20. A 19-year-old Everett man was cited for theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly walked out of a store without paying for a $46 pair of jeans. The man also allegedly had a glass pipe of the type used to smoke crack.

  • 100 block of Forest Court, Sept. 20. Mail was reported stolen from a mailbox.

  • 11400 block of Third Avenue SE, Sept. 21. Officers arrested a 25-year-old Everett man on suspicion of assault after neighbors reported a fight between the suspect and another person. A computer check revealed the suspect had a misdemeanor warrant for arrest for driving while his license was suspended. He was booked into the county jail on suspicion of assault and on the warrant.

  • 400 block of E. Casino Road, Sept. 21. A golf ball cracked the glass door at the entrance of the Hostess Bakery. Damage is estimated at $800. Police have no suspects.

  • 2500 block of Madison Street, Sept. 22. A 25-year-old Everett man reported that his car was prowled by an unknown man. There was no damage to the prowled car and nothing was missing from it.

  • Highway 526 and Evergreen Way, Sept. 22. A 41-year-old Stanwood man was arrested on a warrant for assault and was cited with driving with a suspended license.

  • 9300 block of Evergreen Way,

    Sept. 23. The manager of H&H Motors reported that someone removed the American flag displayed outside the business and shredded it on a barbed-wire fence.

  • 3000 block of Wetmore Avenue, Sept. 23. A 57-year-old man who appeared to be intoxicated when he came to Everett Municipal Court was arrested and booked into jail for investigation of civil contempt of court.
