OCEAN SHORES, Wash. — A deputy on patrol Thursday morning found a dead whale washed up on a beach about four miles north of Ocean Shores.
KXRO reports the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife was notified.
The species of whale has not been determined. About six gray whales typically die each year in Washington waters.
