EVERETT — Detectives are looking for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash just after midnight Sunday that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.
A westbound vehicle struck a walker while headed southbound through the intersection at Eighth Ave. W and 128th St. SW, just south of Everett, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle reportedly was immediately driven from the crash scene. The pedestrian was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with life-threatening injuries, said Courtney O’Keefe, sheriff’s spokesperson.
On Tuesday, the Sheriff’s Office posted a memo on Facebook asking for public help to identify the suspect vehicle. Law officers believe it sustained damage to the front bumper and the hood, as well as potential damage to the front windshield.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information about the suspect vehicle is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office anonymous tip line at 425-388-3845 and include case reference number 2021-83250.
