What could you plunge a couple of sharp forks into, pull apart and that thing would be healthier and happier? Perennials, of course.

As a general rule, spring and early summer bloomers can be divided now. Daylilies, epimedium and hardy geraniums fall into the divide-me-now category. This how-to includes photos.
