EVERETT — An isolation and quarantine site that opened about a week ago at Angel of the Winds Arena has seen three patients so far, according to the Snohomish County Joint Information Center.
The site was set up for people who have been exposed to or diagnosed with COVID-19 to safely isolate if they have nowhere else to go.
Two people are staying there now. One other person was admitted and is no longer there.
The downtown Everett arena has space for about 150 people. It opened April 2. Officials predicted a low number of patients at first.
On Wednesday, Gov. Jay Inslee announced that a field hospital at Century Link Field in Seattle would close before it even opened.
There are no such plans for the Everett site, an email from the information center said.
