LYNNWOOD — A collision Saturday at the intersection of 188th Street Southwest and 36th Avenue Southwest resulted in the hospitalization of two drivers, with one of them in serious condition, Lynnwood police said.
A Lynnwood man, 52, was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with serious but not life-threatening injuries after the collision around 9 a.m., said Lynnwood police spokesperson Joanna Small. The other driver, a 21-year-old from Seattle who was thought to be at fault, was also taken to a hospital.
The 21-year-old apparently ran a red light, Small said.
Nearby roads were expected to be closed for several hours for the investigation.
