EDMONDS — South County Fire crews fought a blaze early Wednesday at a convenience store in the 9600 block of Firdale Avenue, near 244th Street SW.
The fire broke out around 4:40 a.m. in the Firdale Market of the Firdale Village commercial center. Two people were inside the building and got out safely, South County Fire said in a news release.
There were no reports of injuries, and the fire was under control within 30 minutes, the fire department said. Investigators were trying to determine a cause. Shoreline Fire assisted in fighting the blaze.
