MARYSVILLE — Emergency railroad repairs might cause traffic headaches around downtown Marysville for the next week.
Because BNSF is repairing a section of track in Marysville, Eighth Street was closed as of Tuesday at the railroad crossing between Cedar and Delta avenues. The street was expected to remain closed for eight days.
Marked detours guide drivers around the closure. One takes drivers to the railroad crossing at 72nd Street NE and another to Fourth Street.
BNSF owns 1,335 miles of track in Washington.
