LYNNWOOD — An Everett motorcyclist died on Highway 99 Tuesday evening after overcorrecting when a car turned in front of him, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Around 8:30 p.m., a man was riding a 2017 Honda VT1300 southbound on Highway 99 near Russell Way, according to the State Patrol.
An unknown vehicle was driving north on Highway 99 and made a left turn onto Russell Way in front of the motorcyclist. The man overcorrected and lost control of his motorcycle, troopers said.
The man, Alexis Hernandez Cerritos, died at the scene. He was 27.
