Holy Cross Lutheran Church invites the public to an Inauguration potluck “to celebrate a time of new beginnings and leadership for our country” at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at 9613 20th St. SE, Everett.
Those who attend can join in an informal discussion and prayer for our country’s leaders and learn how to take an active role to have their voices heard. Organizers plan to provide food for the potluck.

Mansfield plans to share his story in celebration of the 40th anniversary of The Beatles rooftop “Let It Be” concert, along with Beatles tribute band Orange Tangerine.

Westminster Presbyterian Church plays host to missionary Nancy White at 6 p.m. Jan. 25 at 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett.
White is a 20-year veteran of overseas missions. She plans to speak about and show a DVD of her work among university students in Hokkaido, Japan where she teaches English, conducts Bible studies and helps Japanese youth with life’s struggles.

Grace Lutheran Church offers a More Than Money Matters workshop from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Feb. 17 at 8401 Holly Drive, Everett.
Peter Lee, a financial consultant for Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, plans to lead the workshop. Topics include stewardship and values, communicating about money, setting goals, understanding credit and debt, saving money, budgeting and calculating net worth. Admission is free.
